Loan Disbursement & Refund Dates

Students must be enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at Cisco College each semester in order to receive their disbursements (loan money). Failure to do so will result in the loan funds being returned to the lender and remainder of the loan canceled. Loans will not be reinstated after cancellation due to dropping below half-time even if student is reinstated in classes.

*PLEASE NOTE - A disbursement date is the day a school receives loan funds. Not to be confused with the refund date when any remaining funds will be issued to the student.

The first disbursement each semester will be after the 12th class day for returning borrowers and after the 30th class day for 1st time borrowers.

Fall Loan period is August 23, 2021 - December 10, 2021

Spring Loan period is January 10, 2022 - May 06, 2022

The Disbursement dates for ALL borrowers are:


  • 1st disbursement - September 9, 2021
  • 2nd disbursement - November 1, 2021


  • 1st disbursement - January 28, 2022
  • 2nd disbursement - April 5, 2022

*After the school receives the disbursement on the dates above, the business office has 14 days to credit your account.


Any remaining Pell Grant funds will be credited to the student's account at the 60% point of the semester. The resulting credit balance will be paid to the student within 14 days.

60% date for FALL SEMESTER: October 26, 2021
Funds will be in sent out by November 9, 2021 if there is a refund.

60% date for SPRING: March 24, 2022
Funds will be sent out by April 07, 2022 if there is a refund.
