In 2015, Cisco College resurrected its student newspaper, the Wrangler Express. Published during the Fall and Spring semesters, it informs the college, alumni, and general public about people and events at Cisco College, while fostering a positive community spirit on the two campuses.
Past editions have spotlighted clubs and organizations such as theWrangler Belles, Meat Judging Team, Global Leadership, and the Cisco College Food Pantry. Additionally, the Wrangler Express provides coverage and profiles of sports and rodeo programs, as well as highlighting services offered by the Maner Memorial and AEC libraries, Academic Support, Tutoring Center, and the Writing Center.
Students and faculty who comprise the Wrangler Express staff work to establish a regular news product with a consistent style and format in both printed and digital versions while striving toward high standards of writing and photography. Participation in the publication of the Wrangler Express is open to all students, staff, and faculty at both campuses who express an interest in communications and journalism or possess a desire to become more involved in the life of the college.
