Employee Self-Attestation for COVID-19

All Cisco College faculty & staff who come to campus for work are required to self-assess that they are not exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms before they begin their workday. Symptoms to be looking for include:

  • Fever greater than 100 degrees
  • Chills or repeated shaking with chills
  • Runny nose or new sinus congestion
  • Headache
  • Fatigue
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • New cough that is not attributable to another medical condition
  • New muscle aches (myalgias) not attributable to another medical condition or another specific activity (e.g., due to physical exercise)
  • New gastrointestinal issues not attributable to another medical condition
  • Throat pain (pharyngitis) not attributable to another medical condition
  • New shortness of breath (dyspnea) not attributable to another condition

Those working in patient care may be instructed on additional screening requirements as provided by the directors in their respective clinical sites. If you are sick or ill, do not report to campus. Please contact your primary care provider and make appropriate arrangements with your supervisor. Additionally, please refer to this guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
