Ready to plan your next academic step? Recruiters from three area universities will be on campus this week to answer your questions about transfer to their schools for your Bachelors degree. Schedule: Monday, September 28th, Hardin-Simmons University, Abilene campus 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 29th, Angelo State University, Abilene campus 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Cisco campus from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. McMurray University will be on the Abilene campus from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The recruiters will be in the SUB at Cisco and in the main foyer in Abilene.
Co-Advisors Lori Grubbs and Julie Paredes will be hosting a Phi Theta Kappa Information table at the Abilene Educational Center on Monday, 9/28 from 9am-1pm and 5:00-6:30pm for students who would like to learn more about joining PTK. Dr. Grubbs will also be on the Cisco campus on Wednesday, 9/30 from 8am-noon and 1-4:30pm in the Student Life Building. The graduates of the 2015 Cisco College Fire Academy achieved a 100% pass rate on the Basic Firefighter Certification Exam recently. Cisco College congratulates the entire class on a job well done, and thanks Mr. Larry Swonger and his team for excellence in training of the group. Cisco College has a long history of publishing the news – however the college has not published a paper since the last edition of The Branding Iron
in 2008.The Branding Iron
was published from 1949-2008, and previous to this, The Wrangler
was published from 1941-1942. Recently, a creative group of students decided it was time to give the school and the Big Country community another glimpse into the many vibrant happenings in the Land of the Wranglers. The Wrangler Express

A popcorn party greeted AEC students on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, as Cisco College faculty and staff popped corn and served up snacks and drinks to students. The Food Pantry, open from 10 am to 2 pm every Wednesday throughout the semester, provides food and basic hygiene items to Cisco College students who need a help with nutritional and household necessities. The only requirement for assistance is a Cisco College student ID.
