The Cisco College Board of Regents has accepted the resignation of President Bobby Smith, effective January 4, 2016. President Smith plans to retire after more than 40 years of diverse involvement with the college. He plans to continue to serve the college over the next few months as he assists in handing off his responsibilities to someone he hopes will bring "a fresh perspective and outlook to Cisco College. Cisco College will host an event presented by the Abilene Regional P-16 Council, Cafe Con Leche, on Thursday September 3, 2015. The event, "Cafe con Leche, Empowering Communities Through Education" will begin at 6:00 pm with a tour of the Cisco College Abilene campus. Then at 6:30 pm a presentation on learning what you can do in high school to prepare yourself for college will take place in Room 233. Future students and their families can learn about scholarships and financial aid, and high school seniors will be eligible for a drawing for several scholarships worth up to $1,000. English Flyer. Cisco College is pleased to announce that for the second year in a row, our students rank first in the state on a key measure of Texas community college student success.
