Cisco College will host an event presented by the Abilene Regional P-16 Council, Cafe Con Leche, on Thursday September 3, 2015. The event, "Cafe con Leche, Empowering Communities Through Education" will begin at 6:00 pm with a tour of the Cisco College Abilene campus. Then at 6:30 pm a presentation on learning what you can do in high school to prepare yourself for college will take place in Room 233. Future students and their families can learn about scholarships and financial aid, and high school seniors will be eligible for a drawing for several scholarships worth up to $1,000. English Flyer. Cisco College is pleased to announce that for the second year in a row, our students rank first in the state on a key measure of Texas community college student success. In each of the past two school years, Cisco College students earned more success points on the average than any other community college in the state. Full article
The Cisco College District will hold two public hearings on a proposal to increase total tax revenues. The first public hearing is August 24, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. and the second is September 2, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. Both hearings are at the Regents House on the Cisco College campus.
