The Cisco College Meat Judging team started off the Fall 2015 judging season by competing at Beef Empire Days held at Garden City Community College in Garden City, KS. The team will head to Omaha, NE to compete in the American Royal on 10/18/2015. Full story.

The graduates of the 2015 Cisco College Fire Academy achieved a 100% pass rate on the Basic Firefighter Certification Exam recently. Cisco College congratulates the entire class on a job well done, and thanks Mr. Larry Swonger and his team for excellence in training of the group. Cisco College has a long history of publishing the news – however the college has not published a paper since the last edition of The Branding Iron in 2008.The Branding Iron was published from 1949-2008, and previous to this, The Wrangler was published from 1941-1942. Recently, a creative group of students decided it was time to give the school and the Big Country community another glimpse into the many vibrant happenings in the Land of the Wranglers. The Wrangler Express reporters are now off chasing stories for the first edition of the newspaper, which will be published this fall. . Full Story
A popcorn party greeted AEC students on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, as Cisco College faculty and staff popped corn and served up snacks and drinks to students. The Food Pantry, open from 10 am to 2 pm every Wednesday throughout the semester, provides food and basic hygiene items to Cisco College students who need a help with nutritional and household necessities. The only requirement for assistance is a Cisco College student ID.
