Cisco College/AEC – Cisco College recently received national recognition from the National Board of Surgical Technology for the 100% success rate for all program graduates passing the National Board exams two years in a row. The annual NBSTSA merit award was presented to Cisco College on August 8, 2014 (see attached press release).
The Respiratory Care program Associates degree graduates for 2013 and 2014 also aced their National board exams with a 100% pass rate. Respiratory Care professors Jeff Lawrence and Melody Cusson expressed great pride in the on-going achievements of this group of graduates, who ranged in age from 22 to over 60.
Kelly Meyer, the Division Chair for Allied Health relates, “I’m very proud of our Respiratory Care and Surgical Technologist graduates for passing their national exams on the first attempt for the second year in a row. This achievement is a testament to the great teamwork between instructors, students and our clinical sites”.
