Coach White came to Cisco after eight years as the Assistant Coach at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. Originally from Rising Star, Texas, he was a three sport standout in football, basketball, and track. He was also the state champion in the pole vault his senior year. Coach White received his Bachelor’s degree from Howard Payne University, where he was also a standout on the baseball team. He earned all conference honors all four years (89-92) and was the conference player of the year in 1992. He also earned All-American honors in both 1991 & 1992. He then served two years as a graduate assistant under the legendary Jack Allen at Tarleton State University, where he also earned his Master’s degree. Coach White started the program here at Cisco College and is currently in his 6th year. Coach White and his wife Marla have two children, Aurie (15) and Devin (6).

Shawn Hughes - Asst. Coach

Coach Hughes is originally from Arlington, Texas and spent the five seasons prior to moving to Cisco as the Assistant Baseball Coach at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas. Hughes attended Howard Payne University where he received All-American honors as a catcher in 1996 and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in communications. Coach Hughes played 7 seasons of minor league ball. He has won two league championships, been elected to three all-star teams, won the Home Run Derby in the 2003 All-Star Game, and won a league MVP award in 2000 with the Amarillo Dillas. Hughes earned his Master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Sciences in May of 2000 from West Texas A&M University. He is also certified as a Strength and Conditioning coach and spent the 2001 season as a strength coach with the Los Angeles Dodgers' AAA team in Las Vegas. He and his wife, Angela, have one son, Griffith (8). 

Jeff Robinson - Asst. Coach

Coach Robinson is originally from Greenville, TX.  He graduated from Greenville High school where he was a two time All-State pitcher.  He spent the next 2 years at Ouachita Baptist in Arkadelphia, AR.  His final 2 years of college baseball were played at Southwestern Oklahoma State in Weatherford, OK.  He is currently serves at the pitching coach and dorm director for the baseball dorm.  Coach Robinson wife Crystal teaches and coaches softball at the High School.

Fungoman has been with us for the last 2 years.  www.fungoman.com It cannot be put into words.  To experience all it can do, please visit the following link, or google "fungoman".  It allows us to take THOUSANDS of ground/fly balls every day.  On a rainy day, we can set it up in our indoor bldg and 6 inflielders can get 100 ground balls in 30 min.
