Many clinical sites utilized in the program require a background check and/or drug screen before the student can participate in the clinical portion of the program. In addition, be advised that no credit is given for experiential learning for students seeking either a degree or certificate in Medical Assisting Technology.
College Admission Requirements
Applicants for admission to this program must fulfill the general requirements for admission to the College. The procedure for seeking admission to the College follows:
- Complete the Cisco College application
- Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Turn in Official Transcripts
- Take Accuplacer (Associate Degree)
Prospective students should also remember that acceptance by Cisco College does not guarantee admission into specific occupational programs. Additional factors considered for admission may be a satisfactory record in high school or college, placement tests and other criteria.
