Career opportunities abound in this fast-growing area. Employment of HVACR mechanics and installers is expected to grow 34 percent from 2010 to 2020, much faster than the average for all occupations.  According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual wage of HVACR professionals was $42,530 in May 2010. Job opportunities for HVACR technicians are expected to be excellent for those who have completed training at an accredited technical school. Our Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Certificate Program prepare individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to install, service, repair and maintain the equipment used in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The curriculum includes instruction in system operations; diagnostic techniques; the use of testing equipment; principles of mechanics; and electricity and electronics as they relate to heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
