Championship Alumni Game

“Honoring Our Champions”

Cisco College would like to thank the players and coaches that have contributed to the success of the program.  A new banner was hung to honor each championship team as well as a banner honoring Coach Ronnie Hearne for his success and 21 years of dedication to the program.

Former Coach Ronnie Hearne and his wife Darleen Hearne were honored during half time of the game for their 21 years of service and dedication to the college.  Coach Hearne is the winningest coach in the history of the program finishing with a final record of 419-207 and winning four Region V Championships!  The most recent in 2003 right before heading to Tarleton State where he has propelled that program to success since departing Cisco.

New Coaching Staff Announced

Cisco College is proud to announce the hiring of new head coach Brenita Williams and assistant coach Kevin Jackson. The two reign from Lon Morris College (NJCAA - Region XIV) in Jacksonville, TX. During their time at Lon Morris, they built a successful women's basketball program in just two seasons. The dynamic duo took a team under five hundred from 13-18 the previous season to a record breaking finish at 18-13 and a Region XIV Champion Runner-Up title in 2011.

The 2012-2013 season has brought about a lot of change and a new beginning to the Cisco College women's basketball program. The team is excited about the year and working hard in pre-season strength and conditioning workouts. The roster features nine freshman and six sophomores. "Our team is very athletic, hard-working and a true joy to be around" Williams stated. "Although we are young, we feel that will be very competitive as long as we keep a blue-collar mentality and stay humble."

The Lady Wranglers will be playing at the Dave Neely Scrimmage in Frisco, TX (Oct 12) and the SAWBC Super Scrimmage in Carrollton, TX (Oct 13) where fans will have a chance to see the team in action.
