Head Women's Basketball Coach
Charinee M. Mitchell, enters her third season as Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Cisco. Prior to her role at Cisco she was an assistant at Southwest Mississippi Community College; and the previous year as an assistant at Odessa College. Two years prior she spent her time serving as a graduate assistant coach and director of basketball operations at her former school of play; Southeastern Louisiana University.
In her second season as head coach at Cisco, she was able to successfully improve from a 12-18 record in 2013-2014 to a record of 15-15 for the 2014-2015 season. In addition to excelling athletically, she prides herself on leading a successful program academically as well. Her current graduation rate is at 90% of the two seasons combined.
During her season in Mississippi; Mitchell helped head coach Brent Harris (former assistant coach of her Southeastern La. playing days) guide the Lady Bears to a 14-10 record, a third-place finish in the MACJC South Division and a spot in the state tournament.
In Odessa, Mitchell assisted in the lady wranglers to a 22-9 record as they finished 2nd in the Western Junior College Athletic Conference and made an appearance in the Region 5 finals. She also helped coach all four All-Conference players, one All- Region selection and four players who signed with a four- year institution.
A 2007 graduate of Paris Junior College (Paris, TX), Mitchell was an All-Region XIV player for the Lady Dragons as well as an All-Academic honoree for the region.
Mitchell spent 2007-09 as a member of the Southeastern Louisiana University basketball squad. After a strong junior year at SLU, she started 29 of 30 games she appeared in as a senior and finished the year averaging 8.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. She hit a team-high 54 three-pointers to help the Lady Lions set a Southland Conference single-season record with 220.
Mitchell was an All-Southland Conference and All-Louisiana honoree at the end of the 2008-09 campaign, an All-Conference Honorable Mention for 2007-08 and received Conference All-Academic honors for both years. She is ninth on the SLU list for career three-pointers made and three-point percentage. She graduated in 2009 with a B. S. degree in General Studies with a concentration in Applied Behavioral Sciences.
Mitchell remained at SLU for the next two years, serving as a graduate assistant coach and director of basketball operations. In 2011, she was awarded a Master’s of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Health Studies with a concentration in Sports Management.
A native of Tyler, TX, was a two-time All-District 12-5A player and three time Academic All-District selection at Robert E. Lee High School.

Assistant Women's Basketball Coach
Kelli M. Jenkins is entering her second season as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Cisco College. Kelli comes to Cisco after a successful career as a point guard at Southeastern Louisiana University. A native of Plaquemine, LA, Kelli was named District 9-3A MVP as a senior at Plaquemine High School (PHS) averaging 17.6 points, 7.2 assists and 6.2 rebounds per game during the 2007-2008 seasons. While at PHS, Kelli received numerous honors including multiple All-State, All-Baton Rouge Metro, All-Iberville Parish and All-District selections. In addition to basketball, Kelli was also a member of the PHS track and field team all while serving as treasurer of the Key Club and Student Council as well as a member of the Beta Club and a Peer Mediator.
Upon graduating from high school, Kelli attended Southeastern Louisiana University where she continued to develop as a member of the Lady Lions basketball squad from 2008-2012. As an explosive reserved point guard her first year she appeared in all 30 games leading the Lady Lions and Southland Conference with 92 assists. In 2009-10 she started in all 30 games, finishing with 120 assist; the most by a Lady Lion since 1995-96 and ranked fourth in the Southland Conference in assist per game only needing 12 assists to break into the school’s career top ten. Finishing among the Southland Conference leaders in points per game, assist per game and field goal percentage Kelli tied a school record with an 8-for-8 performance from the free throw line and entered her senior year ranked sixth in the school’s history with 317 assists.
At the end of her career at Southeastern, Kelli was named to the 2011-12 Louisiana Sports Writer Association Women’s basketball Collegiate Team. She was also ranked second in the Southland conference for assist. Kelli left her footprints in the Lady Lions basketball program with such accomplishments as entering the 1,000 career point record, career free throws made, fourth in career assists, and second in career games played.
She graduated in 2012 with a B.S. degree in Business Management with a concentration in Computer Information Systems.
