Softball Coaches

Leslie Dean is now in her second full season as head coach at Cisco College. She was assistant/pitching coach at Cisco College for 3 years prior to becoming the head coach. Coach Dean lettered and started all four years for the Canyon High School Lady Eagle Softball team from 2000-2004. She was first team all-district pitcher, 2000-2001. District MVP in 2001-2004. She broke all the pitching records at CHS. Coach Dean was awarded the Dee Henry Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame as a junior, even having to fight back from her third open heart surgery earlier that year. She played at Texas A&M Corpus Christi in Corpus Christi, Texas.  In 2004 she helped her team win the Big South Conference which was a Lady Islander three-peat conference victory.  They made an appearance in the NCAA division 1 college softball tournament.  In 2007-2010 she was the pitching coach for East Central University in the Lone Star Conference under Destine Anderson.  2010 was the best year for the ECU softball program.  Pitchers received all-conference honors 2008-2010. Coach Dean is married to Dion Dean and they have a 5 year old daughter named Madison.
